Grand Lodge Scholarship
Available to any first year college student for the 2025-2026 academic year who live in Butler, Preble, Montgomery, or Warren Counties. Applications are available on the Second Masonic District website (https://www.secondmasonicdistrict.org/grand-lodge-scholarship/) and must be submitted to the Scholarship Chairman by March 1, 2025. Contact information and mailing address is available on the website.
Norman G. Lincoln Scholarship
from the Ohio Lodge of Research. Available to any student attending college during the 2025-2026 Academic year and living in the state of Ohio. It is renewable up to 4 years. Applications are available on the Ohio Lodge of Research website (ohiolodgeofresearch.com) and must be submitted electronically by April 1, 2025. Any questions about the scholarship may be directed to scholarship@ohiolodgeofresearch.com.
Scottish Rite — Abbott Scholarships and Local Valley Programs
The Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, offers the Abbott Scholarship though local Scottish Rite Valleys. Most Valleys also offer local scholarships. The application deadline is for these programs is April 1.
Valley of Cincinnati (for members of Hamilton and Herbert T. Hunt Chapters)
Valley of Dayton (for members of Dayton, Frank W. Kiefer, and Ralph H. McMillan Chapters)
Ohio Masonic Communities
The Ohio Masonic Communities Scholarship Program is an endowment established by The Ohio Masonic Communities to provide tuition assistance for eligible full-time students working toward a bachelor’s, associate’s or other undergraduate degree programs at an accredited institution. The Ohio Masonic Communities Scholarship Committee is responsible for administering this annual scholarship.

White Shrine of Jerusalem
Ohio White Shrine State Association Scholarships may be used for colleges, universities, or trade schools located in Ohio. Applicants must have graduated from high school, but there is no student age limit. The application deadline is April 1.
Donald R. James Scholarship
The Donald R. James Scholarship
The Valley of Cleveland offers the Donald R. James Medical Scholarship for all students, Undergraduate & Graduate, pursuing a medical Degree and is available to the following:
- All Masons & Eastern Star Members, F. & A.M. as well as PHA
- All children, step-children, grandchildren, or step-grandchildren of the members above
- All Members or Senior members of DeMolay, Rainbow, Job's Daughters, Pythagorans, and Grand Girls Assembly
This scholarship has no limits on the amount of recipients that can receive one, and last year we awarded 25 Scholarships totaling $350,000.
